Canterbury's Local Skip Hire
We're a Christchurch-based team doing one thing well: affordable skip bins and rubbish removal for homes and building sites across Canterbury.
Started in Hornby,
Serving All Canterbury
Cheaper Skip Hire started with a simple idea: skip bin hire shouldn't cost the earth. We're based on Gilberthorpes Road in Hornby, Christchurch, helping Cantabrians clear out their homes, sections and building sites.
We keep things straightforward — good bins, fair phone quotes, and a friendly voice on the other end when you call 027 446 1253. No call centres, no runaround.
Our smaller trucks can get into driveways the big skip companies can't. Every skip bin has a rear door so you're not lifting heavy stuff over the sides. We think about the little things that make your job easier.
How We Work
Rear-Door Bins
Every skip bin has a rear door that swings open, so you can walk heavy items straight in instead of lifting them over the sides.
Narrow-Driveway Trucks
Our smaller trucks fit down tight driveways the big rigs can't reach — most standard Christchurch driveways are no problem.
Right-Size Range
Four skip sizes from 2m³ to 7m³, plus rubbish removal, single-item pickups and trailer hire — a size for every job.
One-Call Booking
One call to 027 446 1253 sorts your quote, delivery and pickup. Open Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 7:30pm.
We Cover Christchurch & Canterbury
