What You Get
Prefer to do the dump run yourself? Our cage trailers are available for hire — tough tandem trailers with mesh sides that hold a decent load of garden waste, firewood, furniture or general rubbish. Hitch up, load up, and go.
Trailer hire suits garden projects, firewood collection, moving house gear across town, and tip runs where a car boot won't cut it. The cage sides stack high, so one trip does the work of three car loads.

Booking to Pickup
Hiring is straightforward: call 027 446 1253 to check availability and arrange pickup from our Hornby base. You will need a vehicle with a tow bar rated for the loaded trailer, and a full driver licence — we will run through the coupling, lights and safety chain before you leave.
Trailers go out Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 7:30pm, matching our operating hours. Standard hire covers your job window — tell us the plan when you book and we will set a return time that suits.
Load within the cage, secure anything that could blow out on the motorway, and keep the weight balanced over the axle. Bring it back as you found it and the handover takes five minutes. Covering Christchurch and Canterbury jobs from our central Hornby yard.
