What You Get
The 2m³ mini skip is the smallest bin in the Cheaper Skip Hire fleet — and often all you need. It holds around two cubic metres of waste, which is roughly the volume of a small garden clean-up, a few trailer loads of general rubbish, or the contents of a garden shed you have finally decided to face.
Mini skips suit Christchurch sections where space is tight. The bin fits easily in a standard driveway without blocking the garage or the footpath, and our smaller delivery trucks can place it exactly where you want it — even down narrower driveways the big skip companies struggle with.

Booking to Pickup
Like every skip bin we deliver, the 2m³ mini has a rear door that swings open. Instead of lifting bags and branches over the sides, you open the back and walk everything straight in. It sounds like a small thing until you are loading a heavy lawnmower or a waterlogged pile of green waste.
Booking is one phone call to 027 446 1253. Tell us what you are clearing and where the bin needs to sit, and we will confirm delivery from our Hornby base. We deliver across Christchurch city and the wider Canterbury region, Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 7:30pm.
When the mini is full — level with the top, not heaped — call us back and we will swing by to collect it. If you finish early, we collect early. If the job runs longer than expected, let us know when you book and we will arrange a hire period that fits your project.
